Waterside Retreat
This hillside residence, located on the shores of a natural pond, was in need of a little extra something to bring the experience of the water closer to the house. In Phase I of the project, completed in 2008, an existing deck was slightly expanded and connected with steps to a natural Bluestone patio to make the yard more accessible from the first floor living area. The existing walkout basement patio was reshaped to give it a life of its own. A natural stone water feature, with two waterfalls, a flagstone bridge and meandering stream complete the picture and bring the peaceful water-side experience closer to the house.
